Air Asia promotion 2010  – AirAsia is running it’s free seat sale again from 18 May to 31 May 2010 for travel 3 January 2011 to 8 May 2011, seats can be reserved at AirAsia.com website.

The question is where will you go? There are so many places you could visit, but where is good at that time of year to travel?

I am a bit biased, but this seat promo offers a great opportunity to visit Australia and especially my favourite spot – The Gold Coast.

However, before you book your AirAsia promo seats you need to do some homework.

No point saving money on the AirAsia flights to find your accommodation is all booked out or really expensive because it is a peak time.

When is the best time during this Air Asia 2010 promotion to visit Gold Coast?

Here are some hints and tips but you will find much more information over at my Gold Coast website especially the monthly guides.

Gold Coast in January is warm, humid and the chance of summer storms. It is a busy time as Australia is onsummer  holiday and this is where they come! Accommodation will be hard to get and expensive as it is the peak time. There will rarely be deals for tours and attractions.

Gold Coast in February, many of the school children have returned to school, however the university students don’t go back till later in the month and families with younger children or no children will often be holidaying now. Weather is still warm and humid and there is a chance of storms. Accommodation will generally be less expensive than January and you may get some good deals.

Gold Coast in March is a great time to visit, often the weather is getting a bit cooler and less humid, but it is still warm. Ocean water sea temperatures are fantastic and inviting for everyone. Usually there are school holidays towards the end of this month, so that is a time to avoid if you are looking to save money on your accommodations.

Gold Coast in April – ah one of my favourite months on the Gold Coast, the weather is definitely cooling down, but still fabulous. Swimming or surfing in the ocean is warm and pleasant. There are school holidays and public holidays in April, so this is one you will really have to check and plan for carefully.

Gold Coast in May the only thing to watch for in this month is the public holidays making long weekends. Queensland has a Labour Day the first monday in May which means that accommodation can be busy then, but you will probably still manage to get a place but maybe not your first choice unless you book early.

One of my favourite websites for checking out accommodation on the Gold Coast is Mantra where you will find a range of hotels and apartments managed by Mantra, Peppers and Breakfree. I like their website layout as it is easy to see the different prices for different times of the year, so this might be a good place to start to work out when you want to visit Gold Coast Australia.

Air Asia promotion 2010 is for purchase now but flying in 2011. Perhaps it should be called the Air Asia promotion 2011 What do you think?

Yes, Annie I agree with you. We should plan well ahead before blindly book for the Low Airfare.
MY coming visit to GoldCoast from 4th. to 10th. June 2010 was done on last AAsia Low fare sale in Aug 2009.
The group of eight of us paid only Aud$1500 return flight on AAsia and I will drive the rental car of Tarago which should take us around during the holidays.
Weather in GC should be a bit cold but should be tolerable.

Weather in June isn’t usually too cold, in my opinion coldest months are July and August. What a great deal. Hope you have a great time and in June if you are interested try to get on a whale watching tour. The humpbacks are awesome to watch.

  3. They will be more promotions from airasia to Gold Coast soon. Just wait for the announcement…

    Hi Nana Moon,
Gold Coast is in south east Queensland. Queensland is the name of the state that has many holiday destinations.

Where do you want to go to in Queensland? What sort of things do you want to do?

    Annie
